Why should you care about a vision for your life? When you get up in the morning, your life is filled with hope and faith. You then become so eager to make things happen. Because you can see where you’re going, a day seems to be too short.

“A vision for your life will motivate you to make things happen.”

I’ll give you one cause for taking time to catch a vision for your life. The cause is vital. It is worthwhile. Pay attention before you waste more time or even before it’s too late.

Can you be happy and have a fruitful life without the right life vision? You can do many things that work well for you and even make you popular. Society can value you and you can even appear successful. That’s the scary bit. You can appear to have it together and miss doing the right thing God placed you on earth for.

“This shows you how vital it is for your vision to align with God’s plan for your life.”

Some people don’t have the framework of a vision for their lives but they can see where they are going. So, they don’t know if they have a vision. Yet, they know their priorities and that’s where they fix their eyes.

However, there are benefits you can only access when you discern God’s plan for your life. When you can see who you can be, this is your life vision. This vision will attract not only earthly but eternal rewards.

With a life vision, you will have a big picture of where you should be. As you grab hold of your vision, you get to work on yourself so you can reach the place you want to be. When you make it happen, you get to add value to other people’s lives. Likewise, you add value to your own life. Life becomes more significant.

What if your argument is there’s no need to believe God? You might even think, ‘I’m a good person, I do good some things and that’s good enough for me.’ Good on you! Remember, whether you don’t believe God or you are his follower, when you get to the end of your life, you will face God. He is our Creator, the Creator of this universe.

“The right vision will lead you towards the right path.”

Decide in the light of eternity.  Eternity is a long time. It’s longer than the time we will spend on earth. It’s forever. When our time is up on planet earth, like it or not we will give an account regarding God’s plans and purposes for our lives. It’s best to face it now rather than put it off. That’s why it’s vital to have a vision for your life.

Remember that your vision will support you to make the right decisions so you can finish well.

Think about your future. Fast forward. When you look back and see all your achievements, at the end of your life, will you be happy with where you see yourself going? You are free to choose who you become, so plan to finish well.
